Recycling is every Wednesday. The Village utilizes single stream recycling and containers are provided by our contracted garbage hauler. Recycling calendars are available in the Village office along with recycling fliers. The recycling calendar may also be seen at Village Calendar.

The Village bills four times a year for Refuse, Sewer and Water. These bills are mailed on June 1st, September 1st, December 1st and March 1st and are due at the end of the month they are sent out. They can be paid by cash, check or money order in person or sent in by mail. Please note that payment by mail must be postmarked by the last day of the month in order to avoid the penalty. If you have not received your bill by the end of the second week after mail date, please call the Deputy Clerk at (518) 732-2211 Ext. 2 for a copy.

Village tax bills are mailed out on June 1st of each year and are due to be paid by June 30th. This covers the period from June 1 to May 31 of the following year.  Each month that the bills are not paid, an additional 1% in penalties is added to the total amount due.  If you have not received your tax bill by end of the second week in June, please call the Deputy Clerk at (518) 732-2211 Ext. 2 for a copy.

The Village-Wide Garage Sale is usually held in September. When the Board of Trustees sets a date for each year, a flier will be printed and distributed.
