Riverfront Park
Riverfront Park is a 3/4 acre parcel right on the Hudson River; it was given to the Village for a park in 1994. The park is located at Main Street & Scott Avenue. On November 18, 2017, volunteers cleared brush and overgrowth from the land. Public access is difficult, and the Village is seeking to change this.
In 2018, the Village was awarded $50,000 for Riverfront Park under the Hudson River Estuary Grant Program! Funding for the grant award is provided by the New York State Environmental Protection Fund, NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program. Public access to the Hudson River is the goal of the grant.

The Village has been participating in Riverkeeper Sweep since 2016. In 2018, the sweep location was at Riverfront Park.
Schermerhorn Park (AKA "The Brickyard") is located on the east side of Main Street, right at the Village's southern border. This 12 acre parcel was given to the Village by the Schermerhorn family. The Vlockie Kill, a Hudson River tributary, runs through it.
The Village received a Trees for Tribs grant from NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's Estuary Program and volunteers planted 150 trees along the Vlockie Kill in Schermerhorn Park on October 28, 2017.
