What do you do with a broken lamp? Or a chair that has a wobbly leg? Or a sweater or teddy bear with a hole? Toss it? No way! The Village of Castleton-on-Hudson hosts Repair Café at the Village Hall, 85 South Main Street, several Saturdays per year from 11 AM to 3 PM. Volunteers will try their best to make repairs, and it’s free of charge! People visiting the Repair Café, bring along their broken but beloved items. Toasters, lamps, clothes, toys, crockery, furniture, items needing welding... anything that is broken is welcome. Refreshments are available. Watch the Village's Facebook page, the Advertiser and Our Towne for upcoming dates. You can get more information by emailing Gina Giuliano at This email address is being protected from spambots.
