Stormwater Municipial Activities

The Village plays an important role in Stormwater Management, including the following activities:

• Prepare and implement Stormwater Management Plan
• Prepare Annual Stormwater Report
• Review Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
• Issuing Building and Site Plan permits
• Inspection of Construction Sites
• Enforcement of permit and code violations

The Village also operates and maintains the Village infrastructure which includes:

• Village Streets
• Storm Sewer System
• Water System
• Wastewater System
• Solid Waste Recycling Collection
• Village Hall
• Village DPW building and salt storage shed
• Village park
• Village parking lots and other lands

The Village has adopted a Good House Keeping Plan for Village owned facilities which includes activities being undertaken by Village employees to reduce potential stormwater pollution. These efforts include regular street sweeping, maintenance of the stormsewer system and other activities outlined in the Good Housekeeping Plan.

This plan is available for review and comment in Village Hall.
